Keep an eye out for our special ‘Platinum Jubilee’ headboard which will be used on several trains over the next five days. There are headboards on other trains as well, so keep count of how many you have seen. Why not take a photo of them when you see one and share it on Facebook / Instagram to let us and your friends know where you are!
We’re also providing a little Jubilee Bank Holiday fun in Harbour Station, Porthmadog tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday. Quarry Hunslet ‘Hugh Napier’, which used to work in the Penrhyn Slate Quarry, will be running up and down the track beside Platform 2 for you to take a ride on the footplate beside the driver. The loco should be in Harbour Station during the following times:
Thursday: 11:00-12:45 and 14:00-16:00
Friday: 11:00-12:00 and 14:15-16:30
