We are on the lookout for your favourite Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland Railway stories!
With the Interpretation & Boston Lodge NLHF project now well underway, we are currently searching for a collection of stories that you enjoy reciting to visitors.
These stories could be about Gravity trains, Garratt locomotives, the Deviation or any other interesting tales!
Once collected, the Interpretation team will choose a ‘Top 10’ stories list for both the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway, which will become a valuable future resource for the whole railway community.
We are happy for stories to be sent over in English or Welsh, via e-mail to interpretation@ffwhr.com
The deadline for stories to be sent over is the 8th of January, so there’s plenty of time to have a think over Christmas.

Gyda phrosiect Dehongliad Rheilffordd a Boston Lodge – CTLG (Cronfa Treftadaeth Loteri Genedlaethol) bellach wedi dechrau, rydym yn chwilio am gasgliad o straeon yr ydych yn mwynhau eu hadrodd i ymwelwyr.
Gallai’r straeon hyn fod am drenau Disgyrchiant, locomotifau Garratt, y ‘Deviation’ neu unrhyw storiau diddorol eraill!
Ar ôl eu casglu, bydd y tîm Dehongli yn creu rhestr ‘Deg Uchaf’ ar gyfer Rheilffordd Ffestiniog a Rheilffordd Eryri, a fydd yn dod yn adnodd gwerthfawr yn y dyfodol ar gyfer y gymuned reilffordd gyfan.
