Following today’s change to Covid restrictions in Wales, we are now working towards our plan to further open up access to our railway.
Next week, we should be in a position to announce the new arrangements.Access to trains at intermediate stations will become possible once more, initially for staff and members only, whilst we gain experience of our new way of working.
Mindful of very strong feedback from our paying customers that Covid safety remains important to them, we will continue with our cautious approach and will consider further relaxations at a later date. Last season we operated a ‘Covid Secure’ service, our plans for the start of this season were for a ‘Covid Light’ service, we are now moving to a ‘Covid Aware’ service.
We are still very mindful that Covid levels are rising and thus will continue monitoring the situation closely.
Once again, we thank our members and staff for their support and understanding as we work through the challenges that the pandemic has presented us.
