Opening through Aberglaslyn Pass
Following the successful extension of the Welsh Highland Railway to Beddgelert at Easter this year, a further extension through the Aberglaslyn Pass will open to the public from Friday 22 May 2009.

Garratt 50 - Update!
2008 is the fiftieth anniversary of the construction of the Beyer-Garratt No.143 (Works No. 7868) now running on the Welsh Highland Railway (C). No.143 was the last Garratt locomotive built by Beyer, Peacock at Gorton Works in Manchester.
