Funding received for Metropolitan carriage rebuild
London Transport Museum (LTM) has been handed more than £422,000 towards a project to restore the world's oldest known surviving example of an underground railway carriage.

Ffestiniog Railway Society Book Auction 2011
The list has been produced for the Ffestiniog Railway Society 2011 book auction, an annual event to raise funds for the Ffestiniog Railway. This year, all funds raised will go to the FR Heritage Group's Waggon Tracks Appeal.

Penrhyn ladies are Queens of the Hill
The results of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway's inaugural King of the Hill competition are in. And scrutineers from the Railway Performance Society report that we have not a King, but two Queens in the shape of Hunslet sisters Linda and Blanche.
