Welsh Highland services resume
After a record-breaking 2011, Welsh Highland trains begin running again this weekend, hauled by L&B replica Lyd and Single Fairlie Taliesin.

Starting on Saturday February 25th and continuing throughout March, trains will run on the Welsh Highland between Beddgelert and Porthmadog on Saturdays and Sundays in the run-up to daily services resuming on March 24th.

Trains depart from Porthmadog at 1100 and 1415 and from Beddgelert at 1230 and 1530. Passengers wishing to make a return trip from Beddgelert should catch the 1230 which allows time for lunch in Spooner's Café and Bar before returning on the 1415.

The new 2012 timetable leaflet for the WHR is in the final stages of preparation and will be available in the next few weeks.

Contact the booking office on 01766 516024 for more details.
