Snowdonia Park wins CAMRA Gwynedd & Anglesey Pub of the Year 2013
Sitting right next to the Welsh Highland Railway at Waunfawr station, the Snowdonia Park is much more than a pub.

Open and serving food every day from 1100, you are welcome whether you desire a simple coffee or a substantial meal.

The campsite, split in half by the railway line, has a variety of pitches, some with electric hook up and others, simple and on a field sloping down to the river, with an uninterrupted view of the mountains.

And then there is the beer - all brewed in the tiny brewery which is literally under the bar. Carmen, the landlady takes her brewing seriously and her ‘Carmen Sutra’ is just one of a range of popular brews seldom tasted outside the pub. She was delighted to win the accolade of CAMRA local pub of the year in 2012 and is thrilled to announce that they have just been given the award again this year.

"We must be doing something right" she said. "I will be celebrating with a beer festival from 29th March to 6th April and there will be a new stout to add to my repertoire."

Visit www.snowdonia-park.co.uk for more details of the pub, campsite and its beer festivals.
