Return of the Earl

The 'Earl of Merioneth' is about to emerge from the paint shop after a repaint! - As you can see from the photos it looks magnificent. New tool boxes are required to finish the job and these are in hand by other volunteers.

This has been achieved by volunteers led by the Seamus Rogers. Andy Williams, another volunteer, has done a significant portion of the lining out. Andy has lined out most of the FR engines.

A total of 54 man-days have been spent by volunteers on the repaint, and most of that help came from volunteers from the 'Porters Hill' railway.

Thanks go to all the people who helped to achieve this fine result in a timely manner.

* Its first run is the 4pm train on Good Friday!
