Winter timetables now available...

Arriva Trains launches “Club 55” offers
Arriva has introduced a “Club 55” travel deal for travel on the network between September 4th and December 14th. Tickets can be purchased in advance from August 27th.

Mallet and Darjeeling B Class head for North Wales
UPDATED: The Statfold Barn Mallet and Adrian Shooter's Darjeeling B Class are heading for North Wales ahead of the Superpower gala on September 9th - 11th.

More bus news...

Due to the closure of Tremadog Square for the Cob 200 street party over Superpower weekend, 9th to 11th September, there will be no open-top bus service between Porthmadog and Pont Croesor that weekend.

Ffestiniog goes standard gauge!
This week saw a notable first for the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways' Boston Lodge works - the arrival of its first standard gauge restoration project, London Transport Museum's unique Metropolitan Railway first class carriage number 353.
